KAM software products are only available from the Model Railroad
hardware
manufacture. The Life time subscription product will be
available through our dealer network.
Train Tools release 5 will be available for pre-order in Sept/Oct 2010, and
will be shipping in Nov/Dec 2010.
KAM's software subscription may be purchased in two terms - 1
year subscription or a life time subscription. If the user
purchases a yearly subscription, the license expiries after 1 year.
If the user purchases a life time subscription, the period is for
life. Life Time (20 year term) subscriptions are owned by an individual, and my not be
transferred to any third party.
Can I order a demo CDROM and try the software?
You will need to contact your Model railroad Equipment
Manufacturer. KAM only supplies CDROMS with OEM hardware
equipment. The Software that comes with a command stations is
the Basic Version. To download additional software you need to
upgrade to the Standard or Platinum version. KAMRR
software is a subscription product, or software as a service.
How do I upgrade my older software?
In order to upgrade older software you need to meet the following
criteria
- You must have purchased KAM Industries after Jan 1,
2008.
- JMRI developers are not eligible for upgrades.
- Your purchase/use would not create an infringement of
KAMRR software license.

You will need to supply your serial number and date of purchase
and sign a statement confirming the above.
How do I try it before I purchase the software?
The software is supplied with OEM hardware products. You
will need to contact the Manufacturer note software. KAMRR doe
into set prices for the Basic software package.
The only software you may used after the subscription date will
be the basic version (and any upgrades downloaded within the
subscription period.). KAMRR software , Standard and Platinum
are sold as "software As a services" or SAAS. If you choose to
fool the computer clock, this is a breach of the software licenses
agreement and is considered copyright infringement.

No. All KAM's subscription products are licensed per user.
You can not loan your software, provide a download to a third
party, or use any copyrighted material in any way that violates
KAM's
license agreement.
